Oh, that was absolutely beautiful. I'm not much of a Hobbit fan, but I do have a soft spot for Sam, and this had me in tears here and there. The characterisation was spot on, too- it's rare, and as such it's much appreciated.
Only comment: there's some small grammar errors here and there which jarr the story, such as "Sam"! It's only a small thing, but it does take away from what otherwise is a downright moving and emotional tale.

| This story has truly touched my heart - especially Frodo's letter to Sam. I have found myself in a similar situation with my best friend (I'm leaving for college, she's still in high school), and this story was truly helpful for me in ways I can't put into words. A wonderful story. Thank you for sharing it. |
