It's fabulous!!!~~~ Although Luke Goss (Prince N) stole the show from Hellboy, if you ask me. He just...dominates. The guy rawks with a spear. Abe gets some lovey dovey thing going on. There's plenty of hilarious scenes and everything. A definite 9/10 for me (though admittedly not much is going on in the plot, I'm not complaining!)

Btw, Goss is also the fellow hoped by some to take Thranduil's role in The Hobbit. His make up may be creepy, but his moves... he upped Legolas!

absolutely. The Prince was so First Age it hurt (in all the right ways).

I hated the white-face, but I guess they had to at least try to make them creepy enough that he didn't totally steal the show - it almost worked. Wink

although, my second favorite scene ... Hellboy in a steamy shower ... *faints*

I loved it. I likes 'em pale and creepy. Wink I have a new wallpaper for the first time since 'Casino Royale' came out.

During the initial spear-twirling shirtless I've-forgotten-how-to-blink scene, the ever-perceptive man I call a boyfriend leaned over and asked me if I was "getting inspired". I meant to reply with something eloquent, but it ended up more like "Yhuh".

And the rest, of course, was lots of fun. I thought the troll market gave the 'Star Wars' cantina scene quite a run for its money, Ron Perlman did the part justice as I can always count on him to do, and they even wedged a few Lovecraftian-style treats in there as well. Guillermo Del Toro is a crazy man, and I adore him.

Trailer for anybody who hasn't seen it yet, or would like another glimpse or two of the Thrandy to be (YES! YES! YES!)

You're right, Sulriel, he's got that 'first age' feel down pat.
