Tuesdays at 9PM on Fox.

But no new episodes until after New Years. I'm not even certain they're airing reruns.

I just finished watching tonite's rerun. The commercials say that the new episodes will start up again on 1/20/09.

Ack! I totally missed this when I was looking at this forum. Yay for scatterbrained-ness. I love this show. I was a big X-files fan back in the day so I'm delighted to see some supernatural style/government conspiracy stuff back on Fox. I like their cast a lot. Some of J.J. Abrams' typical LOST storytelling is peeking here and there. The "pattern" is an interesting plot point, but I hope they don't drag it out forever before they move on to something new.

The different phenomenon they have done so far have been pretty cool. I nerded all over the place when someone turned into a bloodthirsty hedgehog. It was fun.

I do love Walter, he gives the show something very quirky; which puts up the distinction between Fringe and X-files. All of the characters are pretty interesting, but I think there is a lot they can do with Olivia. She comes off a little bit stiff sometimes, but I've liked her more as they go on this season.

Also, Astrid is an awesome name. It's been stored away in my memory banks and I'll have to steal it someday for something. Possibly for a first child Wink

Astrid is a very cool name. Unusual. I like it.

I'm still really enjoying this show and most of it is due to Noble. Smile

do.

My best friend's cat is called Astrid. I think it was also used in Cats the Broadway show. (Not that those random factoids make it any less attractive as a name, just tossing out useless information.)

Okay, I need an active community discussion for Fringe. Anybody on one on LJ or something? Just saw "Immortality" and have a major case of Franklust, which I must share with others of similar fancies.

Thank you for your time.

Yes. I plan to rewatch Firefly very soon. During which watching, I'll be in my bunk.

Any Fringe watchers up-to-date and want to discuss what's going on in Season 3?

I've been sneak-watching it on Hulu (my hubbino and I are watching it on Netflix, but I couldn't wait for this season to come out on video, so I'm watching it now and will, yes, act duly surprised at every plot nudge when we watch it together).

At any rate: Season 3 and What's Up with John Noble's Wig in Them Flashbacks?

Not up to date, I'm afraid. Got one more to catch up on. Can't even remember what was the last one I watched (not something my father-in-law will sit down with us to watch so we stick to eps of House, Top Gear and CSI - and even the last House was too surreal for him) but I believe the one I'm due to watch is when we see Olivia as a kid, right? Will have to comment on this later.

But there's been lots of angst, hasn't there? Poor star-crossed lovers...

do.
