Hello there,

So lately it has been pointed out to me that I use a lot of americanisms in my stories, and that I should look for a britpicker (aka someone to check for those and suggest suitable synonyms or alternatives in British English) to help me with that.
I don't know if I can find someone like that here, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.
It's mostly for my story "The Unlikely Visitor", which is a Tolkien/Harry Potter crossover posted here. It doesn't need grammar, spelling, or plot checking for as far as I'm aware, but a little help with the americanisms would be most welcome! Wink

Love,
QP

Can't help else your characters might end up sounding Texan, and no one wants that. However, the crossovering sounds scrumptious. Smile
