Scifi Channel is ready to broadcast this december a sort of re-imagined telling of Oz in the miniseries Tin Man and so far it whart I've seen from it looks good:

I'm always amused by Sci-Fi Channel's apparently infinite budget for self-made miniseries and over-the-top movies and reluctance to keep quality programs like Farscape and Battlestar Galactica funded. Surely "Giant Lizard Versus The Wolfman" cost more to make than a BSG episode. Alas, alack.

I'll wait 'till the reviews are in on this Oz bit. Although it looks interesting, I'm generally suspicious of "Sci-fi original" movies.

Thanks for the info!

Hi there Viv! Smile I'll assumme you are joking about the so called over the top movies that Scifi allegedly makes becase most of them are just that really bad jokes. However their miniseries for the most part have been pretty good productions with a few notable exceptions.
