Hi *waves vigorously*
I’m Melle, and since none of you know me (you shouldn’t, if you do are you a stalker?) I wanted to introduce myself. So I did. ^.^
What can I say about me… I like writing not so much reading. Odd isn’t it. But um yes. I do have stories that I have posted before but they weren’t that good so I took them down.
I am however thinking of putting them back up, although not sure they will work on this site.
However if anyone just likes reading I’m always in the market for a beta.

Well then I think I did my purpose and introduced myself. So… A+
Melle

Welcome! And what a pretty icon. Smile So, what sorts of stuff do you write, mostly? Do you have a particular area or character that you write most?

Thank you. I must say I like yours. did you make it? Its really nice like a little doll.

Stories I like to write. I like romances. I am such a girl. So I tend to write them. I like my AU and OC's (not to be mistaken with a MS).

I don't like messing with canon because I think only Mr tolkien can write canon, and honest its too hard! Although I don't make people OoC too much, at least I try not too.

But I really like to mix things up like and have plot twist. Eventually I'm going to start the "mint condition" which should be good since no one has done it. At least I haven't found a story like it.

Howdy Seraphielle! So who do you like to write about? And you must like to read a bit if you're writing Tolkien. Wink

I love Elves, they just rock my world. Right now I have this thing for Glorfindel.... I don't know why he's just interesting. I imagine him sorta like fabio but scrony.
I don't like books *looks down in shame* Actually that's a lie. I like books I am just a horrible reader. I start a book, then another, another, another...ect. Then I'll go back to read a book I started, but i'll forget what happens so I have to start over. So... I have an awesome collect of unfinished books.

I can see it, though: the hair! Dude, it's all about the hair!

Has anybody written an erotica about shampooing Glorfindel? Because if not, that needs doin.

(Thanks for the compliment on my icon. *preens* I did make it, but I didn't take the photo.)

Bonjour, Melle. I'm Nancy, and by way of intro (and SSP) most of my writing is about Men in general, and Boromir in specific, with forays into Hobbits and out of Tolkien into Firefly. I do have a Glorfindel fic (under the name of "NancyandAnna" since she inspired me), and I think it's the hair and the perceived brawn that makes you think of Fabio, G being the balrog slayer and all. After that the similarity ends, IMHO.

Welcome to OSA Cool

Howdy too, and welcome to OSA.

There is a fair mix of stories here. My favourite topic is a canine character. A bit of an OC, I know, but they are very underepresented in the books. Although one appeared in the movies so I've expanded on it a little.

One of the exciting challenges is to work out how to get the right expression in a dog's vocabulary. The last story took me about 12 months to work on, even longer by the time my beta reader had corrected the spelling mistake. Everyone can speak Elvish, but not too many canine speakers!

Welcome, Seraphielle! Hope you make yourself at home. I have a thing for Glorfindel too these last... um... 6 years.
