Hey all you fanfic writers out there!! If you have a fic posted somewhere on this site, promote it here!!!

That said, I'll start:

Read the Harpist's Redemption in the AU section, it's unique, humorous and (of course) angst ridden!

Check out my other fics also!!!!

AND REVIEW THEM! (please)

Anyone else wanna promote themselves?

XOXO

Cor Laughing

I just want to plug Fileg's fic. I haven't reviewed imany of them here just because I've reviewed them elsewhere and thought I should give someone esle a turn. But I'm a big fan!

Particularly - Home By Morning, River of Fallen Stars, As Truly as the Arrow Flies, Telling the Bees and Winter Solstice -- my favorites!

Now, get out of this forum and go read them!

When Shadow Touches Home is one of the very few fanfics in any fandom that, were it not a dervied work, is ready in every way for professional publication.

More than that, though, it's an engaging story with deep characters and actual character and plot development. I definitely recommend it.

If you're looking for a good story that takes place around the time of the events from ROTK, I would have to suggest Daughter of Kings Very Happy The story is a mixture of action/romance/angst and features a spunky heroine and frisky Elves. And I highly recommend the swordfighting scene Thumb in which a little bit of swordplay serves as foreplay. And if that is not enough reasons to make you read this story, Part 2 will definitely earn a NC-17 rating, due to lots of Kiss between a certain frisky Elf and the love of his life. So please read and review. Roisin and myself are dying for any scrap of constructive feedback we can get.

As for some other great stories here at OSA, I also highly suggest -

Autumn Hunt

Eternally

I just checked and realized it doesn't say names. Oops. Stupid me. Well you guys can click on it and find out. If you want. I might go through the list next time I get on and fix it so that names are listed. If I remember/have time.

Thank you, Leila! Neato!

And Zim, I second that recommendation: I have yet to read a single mediocre thing by you. I bet you yawn poetically. Smile

Got a tip - when you read a story, click on the "Recommend this story to others" link. Then it's flagged in a list as being recomended.

Nothing wrong with posting about them in the forum, too, but the recomendations part is hightly under-used. Is it bad / difficult etc - let me know if it needs improvement as there's gotta be some reason only 15 stories have been recommended so far!

Did you look in your profile? That's where your recommended stories are listed. (I've used it for a few stories, but I seem to be a person "on the fringes" as my fanfic well has run dry for a little while. At least till ROTK comes out and Ell and I can start bugging each other for a sequel to "Eternally..." [Hey, can I recommend "Eternally," as long as I'm shameless self-promoting? It's under Ellbee's stories, and since we'll be doing a sequel it would be a good idea to refresh your memory of it... Razz ])

Like I said, if it could be designed better, let me know.

There's got to be some reason why it's never used Sad

I think I use it ... not sure though .. and hey .. I don't dare to promote my fic ... so I'll just stick to reading recommendations and new submissions ...

Please keep on recommending and promoting, please!
