As you said, it is unfortunate that few attempt to tackle Galadriel and Celeborn, but I'm glad you did. I love the opeing "...a place of whispered words." And your portrayal of Celeborn is spot on in my mind. I would have to agree with Inglor: of the few stories I have read, they seem to often portray him as jealous or weak. I always view him as an elf with extreme patience and understanding, and, above all, wisdom. The description of Celeborn being able to withstand the stares of Galadriel's eyes I think gets that message across in your writing. Oh, and nenya - definitely liked that plot device! Great job!

Your writing is beautiful. I have a flare for fics that explore the little things that Tolkien did not elaborate on and I have often wondered what the backstory of Elrond and Elros could be. Your fiction is the first I've read based on that subject that has captivated me. Your words are so descriptive - I could feel the tension between brothers when they first meet each other again and the bittersweet air when they realize they will say good-bye again so soon. And the foreshadowing...lightly placed in the right places.
