Lovely drabble, an excellent view of Thranduil showing both the hardships he has known, and his reverence for the light, even the Light he has never seen, that of the Two Trees.

Haunting, beautiful. What a great idea for characters to meet. Poor lonely, wandering Elf. Good characterisation of the two boys.

I would think that Eowyn and Faramir have an easier life than Arwen and Aragorn; and I do like the idea of a friendship between Arwen and Eowyn. A fine vignette.

Nice story. I always enjoy explanations of how and why Pippin came to name his heir after Faramir.

A fitting prelude to the full-blown horrors of Sauron's assault on Gondor; as seen through Faramir's letters to his brother. The last one in particular is both urgent and haunting.

Cute, well-researched, and fast-paced. Gudrun is a wonderful OC and I'd like to see more of her in future tales.

Awwwww. What great news; I don't blame Arwen for sending such an urgent message. She's waited even longer than Aragorn to be able to deliver such tidings. Very Happy smiley face

A quietly effective story, with the three generations of Elven ladies weaving, and Arwen learning more than embroidery. Galadriel's vision, and the link to young Arwen despairing of ever being able to properly embroider stars, is a neat bit. Very Happy smiley face

A complex, well-plotted story that takes its characters credibly, if scarily, into very dark waters.
