in answer to the Elegy Challenge :)

This poem was actually inspired by a painting I saw on Elfwood...

The artist is Jenny Dolfen, she takes all credit for the artwork, I only wrote the poem to go with, and to answer the challenge.

Its a picture from the Battle of Unnumbered Tears (Nirnaeth Arnoeidiad for the geeks... lol) and this poem was written by the slain mans wife who was left behind in Valinor.

Legolas has been dwelling in Valinor for decades, but finds himself restless. He has yet to find a mate, and the death of his closest friend leaves him feeling alone and unable to manage the grief, until a certain someone comes along, from an unexpected place... NC-17 for possible later chapters.... mostly R for some intercourse and graphic/gruesome details later on... is also a mixture between romance and action/adventure, but the option isn't available
