Hello there,

So lately it has been pointed out to me that I use a lot of americanisms in my stories, and that I should look for a britpicker (aka someone to check for those and suggest suitable synonyms or alternatives in British English) to help me with that.
I don't know if I can find someone like that here, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.
It's mostly for my story "The Unlikely Visitor", which is a Tolkien/Harry Potter crossover posted here. It doesn't need grammar, spelling, or plot checking for as far as I'm aware, but a little help with the americanisms would be most welcome!

Can't help else your characters might end up sounding Texan, and no one wants that. However, the crossovering sounds scrumptious.
