He sings how, on an evening,
Beneath the birch-trees cool,
He sate and play'd his harp of gold,
Beside the river-pool. |

It's a play on the movie/series title "state of play," 'sate' meaning satisfied or full.
I thought it was funny and titilating. Maybe not. _________________ NB Duchess of WHY TF Cant'chu Punctuate, First Duchess of F*&(ing &*ll yur comma placement sux!

Oh, and so Viv made a play on my play with Sate being an archaic past tense of 'sat'. _________________ NB Duchess of WHY TF Cant'chu Punctuate, First Duchess of F*&(ing &*ll yur comma placement sux!

Challenges will be posted every TWO WEEKS, and participants will have two weeks to complete the challenge.
