I absolutely adore Lost.
And I'm really liking this season so far. the last epi- sayid's- had me all in a flutter. but thats because I'm very attracted to sayid
and I agree- I'm completely over Jack (tell me whats going on and if you don't I'm going to break things!) and Kate (i have to follow people who expressly tell me not to). ugh. I feel like last season and this season so far hasn't focused much on Sun and Jin.
And I'm also really excited by Claire. I've always loved Claire, so to have her back has been great and the self sufficient, deadly, slightly crazy mama is really fascinating to watch. was anyone else having a heart attack when Claire was in the hole and kate was all lovey and telling her about how she was raising Aaron- and then later when the smoke monster forced Kate to almost fall in? I thought Claire was going to strangle her! _________________ We could learn from a box of crayons. Oh, really? Come on, I do feel like getting you started.
I'm so in love with John Noble's portrayal of Walter Bishop, it's not funny. What exactly is annoying Nancy? I wonder...
do. (hijacking the thread - briefly) _________________ Je sais de la vie qu'elle se termine souvent au lit,

I loved Fringe last year - the pattern, Global Dynamics, the pattern, the mystery of Walter's past, our growing awareness that there was something not right with Peter, the pattern ... and stolid Liv just soldiering on through the whole thing.
This season has been fun, but it's also just been the X Files all over again: stand alone episodes that don't amount to anything except an alien conspiracy. We've already been to that dimension.
Fringe started out doing something really interesting, exploring man's manipulation of the environment and technology and possible backlashes, and it gave us main characters we weren't sure we could trust. Now it's just treading the same old ground we've been over so many times before.
Don't misunderstand - I still like the characters, and I think the potentially troubling interractions we can anticipate after the last episode are going to play out with great entertainment value, I'm just disappointed with where we've come out of the rabbit hole. I thought we were going to Miami, and we've ended up in Cleveland.
So, as Kevin Kline's character had it in "A Fish Called Wanda": disaPOINTed!! _________________ NB Duchess of WHY TF Cant'chu Punctuate, First Duchess of F*&(ing &*ll yur comma placement sux!

Fringe is my next DVD coming from Netflix. Don't tell me I shouldn't!
So, last week's Lost was all Sayid? Shirtless?
I might have to peek at that one out of order. |

Yeah, I get your point. ::nods to Nancy::
Oh, Viv... I think you should still give it a go. The characters are really interesting, and as I squeed before, John Noble's work is simply amazing in this. Not that he wasn't good as Boromir's daddy-o but yeah...

Lost isn't my favourite show, but I do watch it once in a while.
The one show I really miss was on NBC...Journeyman. Now, that show was great. Damn you, NBC! *shakes fist* _________________ [ ] |
