I can't believe I am the first to review this! Although it is of course highly speculative, I find the image of Frodo and his adoring ladies a pleasant one.
Your writing is first-rate. You set a scene with rich detail and the narrative flows very smoothly. I thought you did avery good job in capturing the nuances of character. I could hear the characters in my head when they spoke, and Sam's description of Rosie brought tears to my eyes. Very well done!

Lovely! My exposure to "harem-fic" has been limited so far, but I'd say this is something that even someone who didn't know about the history of the harem could appreciate. And I adored Sam and Frodo's contrasting speeches about love and desire. The thoughts and "voices" sounded so right for each of them. I liked the idea of Merry's special pipeweed too.

"mossy stump," and "unadorned clay pipe and a soft leather pouch" describe this character so much better than any physical description could. Very nice. And how comforting it is to imagine Frodo at last finding freedom and love. Thank you for that mental image.
