I have missed this story! but as you, I have also been away with RL and am flapping my little bird wings with the happiness of being back!

You know how I feel about this story already...but..
I believe my favorite part is when Amaras is speaking with the children, a little insight to the fatherly side of him. I must confess that is one of my favorite parts of working with children, sitting back and talking with them, listening to their questions and ideas, and wondering at the things they come up with!
But then again, there is also Phaila and making a point to poor Amaras...reminds me of another Oath, where the oath-takers took on more than they wished to and were completely screwed over...though I don't think I am so willful that I would camp out in a blizzard to make the point...(but then I am a weenie and from a very warm part of the world...)
